Role & responsibilities
- Patient Preparation: Explain test procedures, take medical histories, and measure the scalp to attach electrodes accurately using conductive paste.
- Testing: Perform routine, ambulatory, sleep-deprived, or long-term EEG monitoring.
- Equipment Care: Operate, calibrate, and maintain recording devices.
- Monitoring: Watch patient vitals and recordings during tests to spot artifacts or seizure events.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow strict infection control and patient confidentiality protocols.
