Job Summary
We are looking for a Vendor QC Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in vendor quality, incoming inspection, and supplier quality management. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that components supplied by vendors meet Macpower CNC's quality, dimensional, drawing, and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct vendor inspections and incoming quality inspections of machined, fabricated and bought-out components.
- Inspect components as per approved engineering drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Verify dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, material specifications and workmanship.
- Perform inspection using:
- Vernier Caliper
- Micrometer
- Height Gauge
- Bore Gauge
- Dial Gauge
- CMM / Profile Projector, where applicable
- Review and verify inspection reports and supplier quality documents.
- Identify vendor quality issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) for rejected or non-conforming components.
- Follow up with vendors for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and CAPA.
- Conduct vendor visits for quality improvement and process audits.
- Monitor supplier quality performance and rejection trends.
- Support new vendor development and part approval.
- Participate in PPAP/FAI/first-piece inspection, where applicable.
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Production and Assembly teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain vendor quality records, inspection reports and rejection data.
- Ensure timely closure of vendor-related quality issues.
- Support continuous improvement activities to reduce vendor rejection and rework.
Required Technical Skills
- Valuable knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Knowledge of dimensional inspection and measuring instruments.
- Understanding of machining, fabricat
