We are looking for a Costing professional to manage product costing, cost analysis, variance analysis and cost control activities. The role will work closely with Finance, Manufacturing, Procurement and Business teams to ensure accurate costing and support effective cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain product cost sheets covering material, labour, overheads and other manufacturing costs.
- Perform standard costing and product costing for recent and existing products.
- Analyse actual vs. standard costs and identify key cost variances.
- Conduct material, labour and overhead cost analysis.
- Prepare BOM-based costing and validate costing inputs.
- Support inventory valuation and month-end costing activities.
- Monitor manufacturing costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and cost optimization.
- Prepare periodic MIS and costing reports for management review.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and annual standard cost updates.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Procurement and Supply Chain teams for cost-related inputs.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of costing data in ERP/SAP systems.
- Support internal and statutory audits related to costing and inventory.
- Drive continuous improvement in costing processes and financial controls.
