About the Role
The L&D; – Dialysis Training & Clinical Quality role is responsible for leading technician training, competency development, clinical process standardization, quality improvement, and digital adoption across the Lord's Renal dialysis network.
The role will work closely with dialysis operations, Medical Affairs, Clinical Quality, and center teams to strengthen technician competency, ensure standardized clinical practices, improve quality outcomes, and support consistent patient-care standards across centers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Dialysis Technician Training & Development
- - Design and deliver induction training programs for newly joined dialysis technicians.
- - Conduct regular refresher and skill-based training programs.
- - Identify training needs based on audits,
competency assessments, incidents, and operational requirements.
- - Develop structured training calendars and learning programs for dialysis technicians.
- - Provide in office coaching and mentoring to dialysis teams.
- - Monitor training effectiveness and implement corrective actions where required.
2. Competency Assessment & Certification
- - Develop competency assessment frameworks for dialysis technicians.
- - Conduct practical and theoretical competency assessments.
- - Establish certification and recertification programs based on defined clinical competencies.
- - Maintain competency records and certification status of technicians.
- - Identify skill gaps and recommend targeted training interventions.
3. Clinical Process & SOP Standardization
- - Support development, review, and standardization of dialysis SOPs and clinical workflows.
