Job Description
A leading MNC is looking for an experienced Senior Connex Engineer with strong expertise in HPE NonStop, Connex and TANDEM platforms to join its Banking & Payments technology team.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Connex development, TANDEM architecture, TAL/pTAL, TACL, COBOL/SCOBOL, Pathway, Guardian, Enscribe and SQL/MX, along with solid knowledge of payment switching applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions in consultation with business and technology stakeholders.
- Lead technical design, development and support of switching applications.
- Perform coding, debugging and troubleshooting of complex technical issues.
- Develop and execute unit test scripts and perform unit testing.
- Support SIT, UAT and Production deployments.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and defects, including difficult-to-reproduce issues.
- Prepare technical specifications and system handover documentation.
- Ensure adherence to established development standards and methodologies.
- Support QA teams by recommending effective test coverage.
- Migrate changes across test and production environments.
- Provide BAU and on-call technical support as required.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on technology solutions and provide technical recommendations.
- Proactively identify potential impacts of code changes and communicate them to the project team.
- Support end-to-end software development lifecycle act
