Role Description
This is a full-time Planning Engineer role based in the Pune Division, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of on-site work at Sahyadri Hospitals and some work-from-home flexibility. The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining project and operational plans for hospital facilities, including capacity planning, resource allocation, and workflow optimization. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project progress, preparing schedules, coordinating with clinical and non-clinical teams, and updating management on timelines, risks, and dependencies. The role involves analyzing operational data, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The Planning Engineer will collaborate closely with project control, production planning, and administrative stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement across the hospital network.

Qualifications
- Strong planning and production planning skills, with experience in developing and managing schedules,



resource plans, and workflows.
- Excellent analytical skills and project control capabilities, including data interpretation, risk assessment, and progress tracking.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and present clear reports to stakeholders.
- Proficiency with planning and project management tools (e.g., MS Excel, MS Project, or similar software) and basic data analysis tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Civil) or a related field; a specialization in healthcare or operations management is an advantage.
- Experience in hospital operations, healthcare projects, or large-scale service industry environments is beneficial.
