Job Summary

Responsible for providing protected and efficient dialysis treatment to patients under the supervision of a Nephrologist/Medical Team. The technician will operate and maintain dialysis equipment, monitor patients during procedures, and ensure adherence to infection-control and patient-safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform hemodialysis procedures as per prescribed treatment plans and hospital protocols.
- Prepare and check dialysis machines, RO system, dialysate, consumables, and other required equipment.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical condition throughout the dialysis procedure.
- Initiate, monitor, and terminate dialysis treatment safely.
- Assist in vascular access care, including AV fistula, graft, and catheter management as per protocol.




- Identify and promptly report complications or adverse events during dialysis.
- Maintain accurate dialysis records, treatment charts, and patient documentation.
- Follow strict infection prevention and control practices, including proper disinfection of machines and dialysis areas.
- Perform routine checks and basic troubleshooting of dialysis machines and equipment.
- Ensure availability and proper storage of dialysis consumables and emergency supplies.
- Assist the clinical team during emergencies in the dialysis unit.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of the dialysis unit.
- Follow hospital policies, SOPs, NABH requirements, and patient-safety standards.
- Coordinate effectively with Nephrologists, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
