- Lead the complete purchase and procurement function for the injection moulding plant.
- Develop and manage suppliers for raw materials, engineering plastics, moulds, dies, consumables, machine spares, packaging materials and other indirect materials.
- Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate competitive prices, payment terms, lead times and commercial conditions.
- Drive cost reduction, VA/VE and value engineering initiatives.
- Manage purchase orders, supplier schedules and ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery and commercial compliance.
- Develop alternate sources and maintain a solid supplier base to minimize supply risks.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Quality, Stores, Maintenance, Finance and Engineering teams.
- Analyze market trends, material prices and supplier quotations.




- Ensure optimum inventory levels and support inventory cost reduction.
- Handle supplier negotiations, commercial settlements and issue resolution.
- Establish long-term strategic relationships with key suppliers.
- Implement procurement systems, SOPs, approval processes and MIS reporting.
- Lead and mentor the purchase team and improve procurement efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
