The Senior Service now developer will work technical design, implementation governance, and complex platform delivery across the Now Platform. The role requires strong hands-on architecture capability across core platform development, integrations, security, data model design, scalable implementation patterns, and deep portal engineering experience across Employee Center and Customer Service Management portals.

Role & responsibilities

Develop, configure, customize, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Translate business requirements into scalable ServiceNow technical solutions.
- Develop using JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, and Data Policies.
- Build workflows and automation using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.
- Develop and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, and APIs.
- Work on ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, ITAM, or custom applications.
- Develop and customize Service Portal / Employee Center components.
- Configure and customize widgets, catalog items,



record producers, forms, lists, and dashboards.
- Troubleshoot performance, integration, scripting, and application-related issues.
- Follow ServiceNow best practices and ensure upgrade-secure development.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Work closely with Solution Architects and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and support the team in following development standards.
- Identify technical debt and recommend improvements to existing ServiceNow implementations.

Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- 712 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience.
- Strong experience working on enterprise ServiceNow implementations.
- Good understanding of ServiceNow development best practices.
