About the Role
We are looking for a Financial Reporting professional to manage statutory financial statements, regulatory disclosures and audit coordination for our NBFC entity/entities.
The role requires robust technical accounting knowledge, particularly Ind AS, along with hands-on experience in NBFC regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and finalize standalone/consolidated financial statements, including Balance Sheet, P&L;, Cash Flow and Notes to Accounts.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing, including schedules, reconciliations and MIS reporting.
- Prepare RBI regulatory returns and disclosures applicable to NBFCs, including NBS returns, SBR framework disclosures and ALM statements.
- Handle provisioning requirements under RBI/Ind AS 109.
- Coordinate statutory,
internal and tax audits, including audit schedules, queries and closure of observations.
- Ensure compliance with Ind AS 109, 115 and 116, Companies Act provisions and applicable RBI Master Directions.
- Assist with RPT documentation and disclosures under Ind AS 24 and applicable RBI requirements.
- Support DTA/DTL calculations and tax provisioning.
- Maintain audit trails and Internal Financial Controls (IFC) documentation.
- Coordinate with Credit, Operations and Compliance teams to ensure accurate financial data capture.
Required Skills
- Strong working knowledge of Ind AS and RBI NBFC regulatory frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in financial statement finalization and audit closure.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Tally, SAP, Oracle or NBFC-specific loan management systems.
- Understanding of NBFC-specific accounting areas, including provisioning, FLDG/contingent li
