Cut List Expert – Roles and Responsibilities

1. Understanding Project Requirements Study technical drawings, AutoCAD. Clarify dimensions, materials, and joinery with designers or production supervisors

2. Preparing Detailed Cut Lists Convert furniture designs into accurate panel cutting lists for Beam Saw / Panel Saw machines. Optimize board usage (MDF/PLB/Plywood) to reduce material wastage using optimization software (like CutList Plus, OptiCut)

3. Material Specification & BOM (Bill of Material) Identify and list exact materials: core material, laminate, edgeband, backing, and hardware. Assist in preparing BOQ and BOM with correct quantities.

4. Machine Coordination Prepare cut files or printouts for machine operators. Ensure alignment of cut list with Beam Saw, Panel Saw, and CNC operations.

5. Labeling & Part Identification Generate part labels with codes, edge banding info, and customer/project reference.



Ensure all cut pieces are easily traceable for assembly.

6. Quality Control Cross-check cut pieces against the cut list. Ensure precision in dimension and labeling before parts move to edge banding/assembly.

7. Coordination with Teams Collaborate with: Design team for design clarification Production team for timely output Purchase team for stock requirements

8. Updating and Maintaining Records Keep a database of standard cut lists for repeated items. Update library of standard modules for kitchen, wardrobes, office furniture, etc.

9. Cost Optimization Suggest changes in design to reduce material cost and improve cutting efficiency.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Experience:
- CNC laser cutting: 4 years (Required)
- Furniture design: 6 years (Required)
