What You Will Do
- Clinical Counseling and Risk Assessment:



Provide comprehensive pre test and post test genetic counseling for hereditary cancer syndromes and somatic tumor profiling.
- Genomic Translation: Clearly explain complex Next Generation Sequencing results, including pathogenic, benign, and VUS, in culturally sensitive and accessible language.
- Multidisciplinary Impact: Serve as a core member of KPCIRC Molecular Tumor Board, collaborating with oncologists and computational biologists to formulate targeted therapy plans.
- Patient Outreach and Conversion: Follow up on leads generated by telecallers, answering preliminary clinical queries to build trust and drive the conversion of current patients.
- Psychosocial and Ethical Support: Provide short term emotional support to families navigating a cancer diagnosis, facilitate cascade testing discussions, and navigate genetic data privacy.
