Job Description
- Prepare and modify 2D AutoCAD drawings for civil and structural works.
- Prepare detailed Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) based on structural drawings.
- Perform quantity take-offs for:
- RCC.
- Reinforcement steel.
- Shuttering.
- Masonry.
- Plastering.
- Flooring.
- Structural steel works.
- Prepare BOQs, project estimates, and cost calculations.
- Prepare material requirement statements and steel consumption reports.
- Assist in tender estimation and rate analysis.
- Coordinate with site engineers and project managers for drawing revisions.
- Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings.
- Verify site measurements and update drawings accordingly.
- Maintain accurate drawing records and project documentation.
- Ensure drawings and estimates are prepared accurately as per project requirements.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
- Strong knowledge of Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) preparation.
- Experience in BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Positive knowledge of RCC detailing and reinforcement calculations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
