The Civil Engineer owns on-ground civil construction execution across all 5 Vega Charge highway sites NH65 from groundwork to handover acting as the single point of coordination for civil quality, timelines, and safety across concurrent, geographically spread site builds as the network expands.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the single point of coordination for civil execution across all 5 Vega Charge sites, prioritizing across concurrent builds and flagging conflicts to leadership
- Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at active sites
- Coordinate with Architects, MEP, Structural consultants, Fabricators, and Machinery/Equipment suppliers to keep design and execution aligned across sites
- Coordinate with contractors, masons, electricians, and other on-ground site personnel to ensure work quality and adherence to approved drawings
- Coordinate with electrical contractors and the Technical Supervisor specifically for charger foundation and conduit planning
- Track construction timelines and proactively flag delays or resource gaps to leadership
- Communicate proactively across sites, contractors, and leadership to avoid rework and keep projects on schedule
- Conduct quality checks on civil work — foundation, flooring, drainage, canopy structures, and allied infrastructure
- Ensure site safety practices are followed by all construction personnel
- Coordinate with electrical contractors and the Technical Supervisor for charger foundation and conduit planning
- Maintain material inventory, delivery schedules, and site progress documentation
- Support liaison with local authorities on construction-related approvals as needed
- Travel to current sites as they enter the construction phase across the network
REQUIREMENTS
- B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering
- 3-5 years of hands-on site execution experience in civil construction
- Experienced in construction of RCC structures
