Overview

PENNEP is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, GST compliance, financial records, and related finance activities for our client.

Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchase, sales, receipts, and payment entries.
- Record and reconcile bank transactions and ledgers.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, debit/credit notes, and other accounting documents.
- Manage accounting operations using Tally – Mandatory.
- Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Reconcile GST data, purchase records, sales records, and input tax credit.
- Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding invoices, payments, and account-related queries.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and statutory requirements.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and account statements for management.




- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
- Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and maintained on a timely basis.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and other external parties when required.
- Support other finance and accounting activities related to the manufacturing business.

Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Hands-on experience with Tally – Mandatory.
- Practical experience in GST returns and GST compliance.
- Positive knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Experience handling purchase, sales, expenses, payments, receipts, and reconciliations.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
