Packing In-Charge – Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and manage daily packing activities as per the production schedule.
- Allocate manpower to different packing activities.
- Ensure daily packing targets are achieved on time.
- Check finished products before packing as per quality requirements.
- Ensure correct quantity, size, colour, design and specifications are packed.
- Ensure proper packing materials such as boxes, bags, labels and tapes are available.
- Maintain proper identification and labelling of packed products.
- Prevent mixing of different products, sizes, colours or customer orders.
- Monitor packing quality and reduce rejection, damage and wastage.
- Ensure proper stacking and storage of packed goods.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores and Dispatch departments.
- Maintain daily packing records and production reports.




- Monitor worker attendance, productivity and work performance.
- Train and guide packing workers on proper packing methods.
- Ensure valuable housekeeping and 5S in the packing area.
- Ensure workers follow safety procedures and use required PPE.
- Identify packing-related issues and take corrective action.
- Ensure timely completion of customer orders and dispatch requirements.
- Monitor packing material consumption and avoid unnecessary wastage.
- Report daily packing status, manpower and pending orders to management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
