We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth and expand our FMCG product distribution in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Manage and develop distributors, dealers, wholesalers and retailers.
- Increase product distribution and market coverage.
- Develop new distributors and retail outlets.
- Generate primary and secondary sales.
- Plan and execute market visits and sales activities.
- Monitor stock availability and product movement.
- Build strong relationships with distributors and retailers.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing and market trends.
- Lead, guide and motivate the sales team.
- Ensure proper execution of schemes, promotions and merchandising.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Travel within the assigned territory as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 – 9 years of experience in FMCG Sales preferred.
- Experience in General Trade / Distributor Sales will be an advantage.
- Valuable communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong knowledge of local market and retail network.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Ability to handle and motivate a sales team.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
- Graduate / MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
Salary & Benefits:
