About the department
The GSC&BD; GBS unit is in Bengaluru, India, with our headquarters in Denmark. We are focused on consolidating supply chain activities and driving performance improvement. As part of the Global Operational Planning team, our role involves continuous improvement of our operational planning processes and systems to ensure a balanced supply plan on a global scale. The atmosphere is dynamic and collaborative, with a solid emphasis on teamwork.

The position
As an MRP Controller within our Global Business Services (GBS) unit, you will play a critical role in ensuring continuous material availability for production-critical components.



You will be the vital link between planning, sourcing, and production identifying risks early, driving resolution, and keeping our global supply chain running smoothly.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring daily and weekly MRP signals, validating system-generated requirements, and ensuring accurate material availability for all incoming components
- Providing early alerts to the Sourcing team for components with long lead times, shortages, or supply risks, and tracking purchase requisitions and orders through to timely completion
- Identifying material shortages proactively, assessing production impact, and leading shortage review discussions with Sourcing, Planning, and Production teams escalating critical situations with clear risk analysis and mitigation plans
- Maintaining and reporting on KPIs including material availability, supplier on-time delivery, MRP exception closures,
