About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager – EPC / Solar to manage project accounting, taxation, GST compliance, audits, MIS reporting, and financial controls. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in EPC/project accounting, GST, job work compliance, project costing, revenue recognition, and working capital management.

Key Responsibilities1. Project Accounting – EPC
- Manage project-wise accounting and profitability tracking for ongoing and completed projects.
- Monitor project budgets vs. actuals, cost allocation, and project margins.
- Handle revenue recognition based on project milestones / Percentage of Completion Method (POCM).
- Track WIP, project accruals, provisions, and project-related expenses.
- Ensure accurate accounting of material consumption, subcontractor bills, site expenses, retention money, and mobilization advances.

GST Compliance
- Ensure GST compliance for EPC contracts and related transactions.
- Verify appropriate GST rates and documentation.
- Perform GST reconciliation between books and GSTR-2B and ensure effective ITC management.
- Handle GST notices, departmental audits, assessments, and litigation, wherever applicable.

3. Job Work & Inventory Accounting
- Manage inward and outward job work transactions as per applicable GST provisions.
- Maintain records of materials sent for job work and materials received from principals.
- Monitor job work challans and ensure timely return of materials within prescribed timelines.
- Maintain accurate accounting of consumables, scrap/wastage, and inventory at project/site locations.

4. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Manage GST filings, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, along with periodic reconciliations.
- Handle TDS compliance for contractor payments, profession
