Clean water and reliable utility systems are the foundation of our entire community. When our residents turn on their taps or rely on drainage during a heavy storm, our Utility Services team makes sure everything works behind the scenes without a hitch.
We are looking for a permanent, full-time Utility Services Operator II to join our crew. This is a hands-on,
critical field role for a certified operator who knows the trade, takes pride in keeping vital infrastructure running smoothly, and wants long-term stability with a solid team. If you enjoy solving practical problems in the field and working with people who take pride in what they do, we want you on our team.
What is the Opportunity?
Reporting to the Lead of Utility Services, the Utility Services Operator II handles the day-to-day operations and preventative maintenance across our water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater networks.
In this role, you will be out in the field doing real, technical work—from servicing pumps and valves to conducting water testing and troubleshooting system mains. You’ll also step up periodically to mentor junior operators, coordinate seasonal staff, and help lead daily site work when the Lead is away. It is a high-trust position where your skills directly protect public health
