Job Summary

Apollo Clinic, Electronic City is looking for a skilled and responsible X-Ray Technician to join our clinical team. The candidate will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures, ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment and records, and assisting the doctor during ultrasound procedures.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform X-ray procedures as prescribed by the doctor.

* Ensure proper patient positioning and preparation for X-ray examinations.

* Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently.

* Follow all radiation safety protocols and infection-control practices.

* Ensure the quality and accuracy of X-ray images.

* Explain the procedure to patients and provide appropriate assistance.

* Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.

* Ensure proper handling, maintenance and cleanliness of X-ray equipment and the radiology area.





* Assist the doctor during ultrasound procedures with patient preparation, positioning and other required support.

* Coordinate with doctors, nurses and other clinical staff for smooth patient flow.

* Ensure timely completion and proper documentation of investigations.

* Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow clinic protocols.

* Perform other radiology-related duties as assigned by the doctor or management.

Requirements

* Diploma/Degree in Radiology / Medical Imaging Technology or relevant qualification.

* 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.

* Experience in handling X-ray equipment.

* Basic knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.

* Positive communication and patient-handling skills.

* Ability to work effectively with doctors and clinical teams.

* Knowledge of radiation safety and standard radiology protocols.
