Job Description
The Fault Management L2 Engineer 2 will play a crucial role in our MI S MS GD GDC NOC CORE 1 d (L08) department. This position requires a deep understanding of core network operations and the ability to manage and troubleshoot complex IMS Core (Nokia, ZTE & Huawei) and Oracle DSR environments. The successful candidate will have a strong background in network operations and maintenance, with a focus on IMS and Oracle DSR technologies.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Handle customer issues and provide proactive support to ensure network stability and performance.
- Manage software updates and ensure smooth implementation across the IMS Core network.
- Analyze, configure, and integrate nodes/networks/systems, following best practices and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to IMS Core, SBC, TAS, CFX, and Oracle DSR components.
- Perform end-to-end coordination and analysis of IMS Network issues, including collaboration with hub locations.
- Utilize tools like Wireshark and internal system traces/logs for effective troubleshooting and debugging.
- Maintain and optimize the performance of the Core IMS Network (Nokia, ZTE & Huawei), ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in Cloud Native Architecture, Microservices, and Docker.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and smooth operations.
Key Skills And Experience
- B.E/B. Tech degree in a relevant field with 8-12 years of experience in core network operations.
- Extensive experience with IMS Core, Oracle DSR, Nokia Cloud (CBIS, CFX, NTAS, SBC), and related technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of Interfaces and Protocols: SIP, DIAMETER, DNS, ISUP, MAP, INAP, CAMEL, etc.
- Familiarity with Cloud Native Architecture, Microservices, Kubernetes, and Docker is preferred.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network is
