Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced technology leader to head our Application Delivery & Engineering function. This role will be responsible for defining and executing Digit's engineering strategy, scaling high-performing engineering teams, and ensuring delivery excellence across all technology platforms.

The incumbent will work closely with Product, Business, and Executive Leadership to build scalable, resilient, secure, and future-ready technology solutions while fostering a robust engineering culture driven by ownership, innovation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the engineering vision,



technology roadmap, and long-term architecture strategy.
- Lead and scale engineering teams across backend, frontend, mobile, platform, integration, and data engineering functions.
- Drive high-quality and predictable delivery aligned with business and product priorities.
- Ensure platform scalability, system reliability, performance, availability, and security.
- Champion modern engineering practices including Microservices, Cloud-Native Architecture, DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Partner with Product and Business teams to translate strategic objectives into executable technology roadmaps.
- Build, mentor, and develop engineering leaders and senior technical talent.
- Establish architecture governance and drive technical debt reduction initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to data security standards, regulatory requirements, risk controls, and compliance frameworks.
