About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused
Captain – Italian Cuisine
to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, excellent guest-handling skills, and the ability to lead the service team while ensuring a smooth and memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide professional, warm, and attentive service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and explain menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to guests.
- Possess good knowledge of
Italian cuisine, pasta, pizza, sauces, cheeses, and beverages
.
- Recommend dishes and suggest suitable combinations based on guest preferences.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Handle guest queries, feedback,



and complaints professionally.
- Ensure proper table setup, restaurant cleanliness, and service standards.
- Supervise Stewards/Waiters during the shift and ensure smooth floor operations.
- Monitor food presentation and service quality.
- Coordinate with the Chef and kitchen team regarding special requests, allergies, and modifications.
- Assist in training junior service staff on menu knowledge and service standards.
- Ensure compliance with restaurant hygiene, safety, and operational procedures.
- Handle billing and payment processes when required.
- Support the Restaurant Manager/Outlet Manager in daily operations.
