Role & responsibilities
- Network expansion & store development: identify, evaluate and secure sites; build the pipeline of locations, franchise partners and shop-in-shop tie-ups to scale the region toward 200-plus stores, and drive fit-out, licensing and go-live.
- Business development & partnerships: originate and negotiate deals with franchisees, landlords, modern-trade, convenience-retail and HoReCa partners; persuade prospective partners to adopt the brand, category and operating model.
- Operational excellence: own cold-chain integrity, stock availability, shrinkage and wastage control, hygiene and food-safety standards, merchandising compliance and a consistent customer experience across the cluster.
- Supply-chain coordination: Links stores to central procurement, processing, cold-chain and logistics; ensure timely, quality-assured supply of chicken, mutton, fish and seafood and RTE/RTC products, and resolve fulfilment gaps.
- Commercial performance: Drive sales, footfall, basket size,



category mix and margin; set and track store-level targets and put corrective actions in place to meet regional growth and profitability goals.
- Compliance & food safety: Ensure every outlet operates within FSSAI and applicable statutory, licensing and municipal norms for fresh and processed meat, poultry and fish, with full traceability and quality assurance.
- Team leadership & reporting: Recruit, train and lead store managers and staff; track competition, pricing and consumer trends; and provide regular, accurate reporting on operations, sales and expansion.

Preferred candidate profile
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA / PGDM (Retail, Marketing, Operations or Agribusiness) preferred.
- 8-12 years in retail operations, FMCG/food distribution, QSR, contemporary trade or franchise-led expansion, with 3-4 years in a managerial multi-store role.
- Category experience preferred hands-on exposure to fish/seafood, poultry, meat or other perishable, cold-chain categories.
