Role & responsibilities

Role Purpose:

The Senior Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales growth of industrial machinery, including Color Sorting Machines, Grading Machines, Compressors, Industrial Conveyors, Industrial Elevators, and Gensets, through field sales, key account management, and solution-based selling.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development
- Achieve assigned sales targets for industrial machinery within the allocated territory.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across food processing, agri-processing, plastics, manufacturing, and infrastructure sectors.
- Conduct field visits to prospective and existing customers.
- Lead technical discussions and propose suitable machine configurations based on customer requirements.

Technical & Commercial Activities
- Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and techno-commercial proposals.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close orders in coordination with the internal sales team.
- Handle key accounts and long-term customer relationships.





Customer Engagement & Coordination
- Coordinate with service, installation, and commissioning teams for smooth execution.
- Support customers during pre-sales and post-sales phases.
- Ensure timely collection of payments as per agreed terms.

Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and product positioning.
- Submit regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and market feedback to management.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, trade fairs, and customer events.

Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery and material handling systems.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
- Strategic selling and key account management capability.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
