We are looking for a creative and commercially focused Fashion Designer to develop kidswear collections including jeans, T-shirts, tops, sweatshirts, lowers and coordinated sets from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities

Research current kidswear fashion trends, colours, fabrics, prints and styles.

Create seasonal collections and current product concepts.

Prepare sketches, designs, colour combinations and tech packs.

Select suitable fabrics, trims, buttons, zippers, labels, prints and embroidery.

Work closely with the pattern master and sampling team to develop samples.

Conduct sample fittings and ensure correct sizing, comfort and functionality for children.

Coordinate with the Production Manager to make designs commercially feasible for bulk manufacturing.

Develop character-inspired and branded apparel collections while maintaining a consistent brand identity.

Work on prints, embroidery, patches and other garment detailing.

Maintain size charts, specifications and design documentation.

Develop current samples for B2C, marketplaces,



distributors and B2B buyers.

Monitor competitor collections and emerging kidswear trends.

Help develop distinctive signature products that make the brand recognizable.

Follow designs from initial concept through sampling, approval and final production.

Preferred Candidate

Experience: 2–5 years in fashion/apparel design, preferably kidswear.

Education: Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design from NIFT, Pearl Academy or another recognized fashion institute preferred.

Skills: Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop or similar design software, tech packs, garment construction, fabric knowledge, colour coordination, trend research and understanding of commercial garment production.

Robust preference: Experience designing kids denim, knitwear, T-shirts and sweatshirts and working directly with garment manufacturing units.
