Processing Partners – Kairossys is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with robust hands-on expertise in Python and PHP to join our engineering team.

Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and PHP.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
Work with Python frameworks such as Django, FastAPI or Flask.
Work with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter.
Design and optimize database queries and backend workflows.
Work with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
Troubleshoot application and production issues.
Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
Participate in code reviews and follow software engineering best practices.
Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams.
Contribute to application architecture, performance and security improvements.
Required Skills
Minimum 4+ years of software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Python.
Strong hands-on experience with PHP.
Experience with Django, FastAPI, Flask or similar Python frameworks.
Experience with Laravel, CodeIgniter or similar PHP frameworks.
Strong experience developing REST APIs.
Robust understanding of backend development.
Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
Strong knowledge of Git and version control.
Good understanding of object-oriented programming.
Robust debugging and problem-solving skills.
Valuable communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with AWS, Docker, CI/CD and cloud-based application deployment will be an added advantage.
