Role & responsibilities

1. A Fire and Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety of an organizations personnel and property from fire hazards and other safety risks.

Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree. (Degree/Diploma in safety, occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene or a related field will be a plus)
- Proficiency in safety auditing, inspection and identifying hazards.
- Well-versed in creating emergency response plans tailored to various scenarios.
- Expertise in using and maintaining safety equipment like fire extinguishers, eye protection and hazardous material protection.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Provide fire prevention, industrial safety, and hazard identification training to staff members.
