About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
SDE 2 – Backend (Node.js)
to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development experience and be comfortable working on scalable, high-performance systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using
Node.js
.
- Build and integrate
RESTful APIs and microservices
.
- Work with databases such as
MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
, or similar.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Collaborate with frontend,
product, QA, and other engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and system design.
Required Skills
- 2–5 years of experience
in backend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with
Node.js
and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Positive understanding of
REST APIs, microservices, and backend architecture
.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Good understanding of
Git, debugging, and performance optimization
.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with
AWS/cloud platforms
.
- Experience working with
high-scale or transaction-heavy applications
.
- Exposure to
gaming, fintech, e-commerce, or other consumer-facing products
.
