Fractional HealthTech Advisor/ Industry Advisor – Product Strategy & Validation

Role Overview

We are a product-based company building healthcare IT solutions — software, digital patient monitoring (RPM/IoMT), and telehealth integration — with AI layered on top of our core engineering strength, not the other way around. We're looking for a veteran Healthcare Industry Advisor (10–12 hrs/week) with a solid core-IT/technology background to end-to-end own the definition, direction, and market positioning of our next healthcare IT product. The product is not yet finalized; this advisor's first job is to validate the right chance, set the technical direction, and help us pitch it credibly to the market — while our internal team owns day-to-day delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership:



End-to-end own the technology and product definition process — from prospect identification through to a pitch-ready charter — acting as the single accountable owner rather than one voice among many

• Market Analysis: Conduct market and competitive analysis across healthcare IT/digital health to identify white space, benchmark comparable platforms, and validate demand before committing to a build

• Strategy: Guide discovery and validate the highest-potential healthcare IT product opportunity; advise on architecture, platform roadmap, and build-vs-buy decisions

• Pitching: Shape the product narrative, ROI case, and demo storyline, and directly support or lead pitches to prospective clients and investors

• Go-to-Market Strategy: Advise on the initial go-to-market approach — target client segments, pricing/packaging direction, and whether to lead with direct sales, partnerships, or pilots — so the product has a credible path to first revenue,
