Job Summary:
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer - Purchase Engineer to handle procurement of electrical components, materials, and equipment. The role combines technical knowledge of electrical engineering with vendor management and cost optimization to ensure timely and quality purchases for projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Sourcing
Identify and source electrical components like cables, switchgear, panels, MCCB, MCB, transformers, motors, lighting fixtures, etc.
Prepare RFQs, compare quotations, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery with vendors.

Technical Evaluation
Review technical specs, drawings, BOQs with engineering and project teams.
Ensure materials meet quality standards, IS/IEC codes, and project requirements.

Vendor & Order Management
Develop and maintain vendor database and relationships.
Issue POs, track deliveries, follow up for timely dispatches.




Handle claims for defective materials and coordinate with QC.

Cost & Documentation
Work on cost saving initiatives without compromising quality.
Maintain procurement records, MIS reports, and budget tracking.
Coordinate with Accounts, Stores, and Project teams.

Compliance
Ensure all purchases follow company procurement policy and safety norms.

Requirements:
Education:
B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering Experience: 2-5 years in electrical purchase/procurement, preferably in manufacturing, panel, or EPC companies

Skills:
Strong knowledge of electrical components and brands Vendor negotiation and market rate analysis Familiarity with SAP/Oracle/ERP and MS Excel Good communication and coordination skills

Other: Willingness to travel for vendor visits if needed

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
