KLA's Global Products Group (GPG) is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to our mission of delivering cutting-edge metrology and inspection products for the semiconductor industry. This is an exciting chance for a developing software professional to assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications, writing clean, maintainable code, and collaborating with experienced engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications.
Write clean, maintainable, and productive code using languages such as C#, Java, Python, or C++.
Collaborate with senior engineers and team members to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality.
Debug and troubleshoot software issues under the guidance of more experienced developers.
Contribute to documentation and support the maintenance of existing systems.
Learn and apply best practices in software engineering, including version control, testing, and agile methodologies.
Skills
Familiarity with object-oriented programming and a basic understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Exposure to development tools such as Git, IDEs, and debugging tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
Valuable communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Master's Level Degree or Bachelor's Level Degree.
