Role & responsibilities:

Overall, about 8 years of hands-on development experience in the Wordpress eco system

Experience
Robust proficiency in WordPress core, PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Experience with custom theme and plugin development
Familiarity with REST API endpoints from WordPress
Understanding of headless CMS concepts, using WordPress with a separate front-end
Experience with front-end technologies like React, Vue, or Angular for decoupled architectures
Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
Build and manage content using Gutenberg blocks and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
Implement headless CMS setups where WordPress serves as a backend, delivering content via REST or GraphQL APIs
Collaborate with frontend developers using React, Vue.js, or Angular to integrate with WordPress APIs




Optimize websites for speed, SEO, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness
Integrate third-party services (e.g., CRMs, payment gateways, mailing platforms)
Ensure secure and scalable WordPress settings (including database and file management)
Manage deployment pipelines and version control using Git.

Additional Qualifications:
Implement and customize WooCommerce, membership, and multi-language plugins when needed
