Should deal with the patients politely and with courtesy.
Collect the samples from patients for prescribed test.
Make sure that the patient pays the bill to the cash counter.
Should thoroughly test and investigate all the details regarding the patient’s sample.
Should prepare blood, urine and tissue specimens for analysis.
Test for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.
Should clean and maintain the equipments in positive working order.
Should take proper care of sophisticated laboratory equipments.
Prepare apparatus, instrumentation and other materials such as chemicals and solutions for use in laboratories.
Carry out scientific experiments under the guidance of more senior staff.
Send O.T patients lab report to ward.
