Job Summary

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in the valve and fittings industry to develop, modify, and optimize mechanical designs for industrial valves, pipe fittings, and related components.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop industrial valves, pipe fittings, and mechanical components.
Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models.
Create and maintain BOMs, assembly drawings, part drawings, and specifications.
Perform design calculations for pressure, stress, dimensions, tolerances, and material selection.
Ensure designs comply with applicable ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, DIN, BS and other relevant standards.
Select suitable materials for bodies, bonnets, stems, seats, seals, fasteners, etc.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, and Manufacturing teams.
Review customer specifications and convert requirements into engineering designs.
Modify existing designs based on manufacturing requirements,



customer feedback, and cost optimization.
Support prototype development, testing, inspection, and production trials.
Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews.
Investigate design-related quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain engineering documentation and revision control.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of mechanical design and engineering drawing.
Experience with valves, fittings, piping components, or pressure-containing equipment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, or equivalent.
Positive understanding of GD&T;, tolerances, fits, surface finish, and machining processes.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹47,146.04 per month
