Hardware Design Engineer – MedTech

Location: Pune ( near Nashik Phata Metro Station)

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Hardware Design Engineer to develop medical devices such as Patient Monitors, Pulse Oximeters, BP Monitors, Glucometers, ECG Devices, and future wearable/implantable products.

Key Responsibilities
Design electronic circuits and create schematics.
Develop multi-layer PCB layouts using Altium/KiCad/EasyEDA.
Select components and prepare BOMs.
Work with microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32, ARM Cortex).
Interface sensors, displays, communication modules, and power circuits.
Implement and debug UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, USB, and BLE communication.
Perform board bring-up, testing, troubleshooting, and validation.
Generate manufacturing files (Gerber, BOM, Assembly Drawings).
Collaborate with firmware, biomedical, and mechanical engineers.

Required Skills
Robust analog and digital electronics fundamentals.
PCB Design & Schematic Capture.
Communication Protocols: UART, I2C, SPI, CAN.




Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Multimeter debugging.
Power supply design, battery-powered systems, signal conditioning.
Knowledge of EMI/EMC and medical device design practices.

Preferred
Experience with Altium Designer or KiCad.
Experience in medical, automotive, industrial, or embedded hardware products.
Knowledge of IEC 60601 or medical device standards is a plus.

Education
BE/BTech/MTech in Electronics, E&TC;, Embedded Systems, Instrumentation, Biomedical Electronics, or related field.
