We are looking for a responsible and dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The candidate will assist the pharmacist in the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy and ensure smooth and effective service to patients.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the pharmacist in dispensing medicines as directed.
Receive, arrange, and maintain medicines and pharmacy supplies.
Check stock levels and monitor medicine expiry dates.
Maintain proper storage and organization of medicines.
Assist with inventory management and stock records.
Support billing and prescription-related activities.
Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the pharmacy.
Provide courteous and skilled service to patients.
Coordinate with pharmacists and other hospital staff as required.
Requirements
Diploma in Pharmacy Assistant Course or relevant qualification.
Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of medicines and pharmacy operations.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsible, attentive, and willing to work as part of a team.
Previous hospital or retail pharmacy experience will be an advantage.
