Registered Pharmacist with the State Pharmacy Council
Hospital pharmacy experience preferred (Freshers may also apply)

Job Purpose
To ensure the secure, accurate, and timely dispensing of medicines while maintaining pharmacy inventory, regulatory compliance, and providing medication-related support to patients and healthcare specialists.
Key ResponsibilitiesMedication Dispensing
Dispense medicines accurately as per doctor's prescription.
Verify dosage, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications before dispensing.
Ensure the correct medicine reaches the correct patient.
Prescription Review
Review prescriptions for completeness and legality.
Clarify unclear prescriptions with the treating doctor whenever necessary.
Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
Inventory Management
Monitor medicine stock levels.
Maintain minimum and maximum stock.
Check expiry dates regularly and remove expired or damaged medicines.
Receive, verify, and store medicines according to hospital protocols.
Storage & Compliance
Store medicines under recommended temperature and humidity conditions.
Maintain cold-chain medicines appropriately.
Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Council regulations, NABH standards, and hospital policies.
Patient Counselling
Explain dosage, route, frequency, duration, and possible side effects.
Educate patients regarding proper medication use and storage.
Encourage medication adherence.
Documentation
Maintain pharmacy registers and dispensing records.
Record narcotic and controlled drug usage as per statutory requirements.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly pharmacy reports.
Coordination
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, stores, and accounts.
Assist in emergency medicine availability.
Support medication safety initiatives and reduce medication errors.
Quality & Safety
Participate in pharmacy audits and quality improvement activities.
Report medication errors, adverse drug reactions (ADR), and near-miss incidents.
Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.
Emergency Responsibilities
Ensure emergency drugs are available at all times.
Support emergency and trauma services with prompt medication supply.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
