The Accounts Executive manages inventory valuation, monitors leather and accessories. And minimizes leather wastage financial impacts, and ensures production costs. Key Responsibilities:
Material Costing & Pricing
Compute standard costs for leather, lining, and accessories
Analyse consumption variances between bills of materials (BOM) and actual production.
Inventory Control & Valuation
Reconcile physical leather rolls, hardware, and finished goods stock monthly.
Track work-in-progress.
Calculate monthly inventory valuation using FIFO
Identify and report slow-moving leather skins or obsolete accessories.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Maintain accurate inventory ledgers in the ERP system.
Prepare monthly Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) statements.
Assist during annual statutory and physical inventory audits.
Assist other Financial Reporting. .
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance.with Cost (Inter) OR Cost Accountant will be preferred.
Experience: 4–6 years in manufacturing, preferably leather goods , footwear, apparel.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems ( Tally, ICS Inventory software) and advanced MS Excel.
Core Competencies: Robust understanding of BOM, material variance analysis.
