Role & responsibilities
Ensure availability and operational stability of the Automic scheduling tool, including L2/L3 support and incident management
Monitor, analyze, and resolve technical and functional incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
Support crisis management activities and perform root cause analysis for recurring issues
Manage and deliver key Automic projects, including upgrades and disaster recovery planning (DRP)
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance, reliability, and efficiency
Collaborate with technical and functional stakeholders across supply chain domains for issue resolution and process improvements
Execute and manage batch scheduling and workload automation processes effectively
Work within a multi-technology workplace, leveraging tools such as:
Automic (mandatory)
SAP (required)
Dynatrace & Splunk (monitoring)
Scripting (Bash, JCL, etc.)
GitHub (version control)
Follow ITIL processes (incident, problem, and change management)
Participate in Agile (Scrum) ceremonies and contribute to team deliverables
Goals and deliverables
The primary goal of this role is to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of the scheduling ecosystem that supports critical supply chain operations.
This includes:
Maintaining a robust and resilient Automic setting
Ensuring seamless execution of supply chain batch processes
Minimizing downtime through proactive monitoring and rapid incident resolution
Continuously improving system capabilities to support scalability and evolving business needs
Enabling effective and synchronized operations across SAP-driven supply chain functions.
