Dispense medications accurately and promptly to patients, ensuring compliance with legal and skilled standards.
Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriateness of therapy.
Provide medication counseling and education to patients and caregivers, addressing any concerns or questions.
Monitor patient outcomes and troubleshoot any medication-related problems.
Maintain accurate records of medications dispensed and controlled substances.
Participate in the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize treatment plans based on patient-specific needs.
Stay up-to-date with current pharmacy practices, medication updates, and healthcare regulations.
Assist in inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and ensuring the quality of pharmaceutical supplies.
