To assist in the design and drafting of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with design standards, energy codes, and coordination with other MEP services.
Key Responsibilities:
HVAC System Design:
Support in the development of HVAC system designs, including:
Ductwork layouts for supply, return, and exhaust systems
Piping layouts for chilled water, VRF, or DX systems
Ventilation and pressurization systems
Assist in performing basic heat load calculations using standard methods or software.
Help with the selection of HVAC components (AHUs, FCUs, VRF units, pumps, etc.).
Prepare HVAC design and coordination drawings using AutoCAD or Revit MEP.
Create schematic diagrams and equipment schedules.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: ITI / Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 25 years in HVAC design for building services
Software Proficiency:
AutoCAD (essential)
Revit MEP (preferred)
MS Excel & Word
HAP / Trace / Carrier E20 (basic understanding)
Knowledge of Codes & Standards:
Basic understanding of ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC
Awareness of ECBC / IGBC green building guidelines (preferred)
