Role & responsibilities
Assist the E&I; team in routine inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant electrical and instrumentation equipment.
Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities under the guidance of senior technicians/engineers.
Assist in the maintenance of motors, control panels, cables, sensors, transmitters, switches, and other field instruments.
Support calibration and checking of basic instrumentation devices and control systems.
Assist in identifying electrical/instrumentation faults and reporting abnormalities to the concerned supervisor.
Follow instructions related to equipment isolation, electrical safety, and maintenance procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping at the work area.
Follow all plant safety rules, PPE requirements, and standard operating procedures.
Maintain basic maintenance records and checklists as required.
Coordinate with operators and maintenance personnel during equipment inspection and maintenance activities.
Perform any other duties assigned by the E&I; department.
