Role & responsibilities
Participate in invention disclosure meetings to understand and assess inventions.
Conduct comprehensive patentability searches and prepare detailed reports.
Present findings clearly through both verbal and written communication.
Perform technology landscape studies to provide insights and identify gaps.
Address IP-related queries from inventors and internal stakeholders.

Desired Skills:
Solid analytical skills to interpret search results and support decision-making.
Hands-on experience with commercial patent databases (Derwent Innovation, Questel Orbit, PatSeer, etc.).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification and Experience
Registered Indian Patent Agent.
Bachelors or master’s degree in chemistry with solid domain expertise.
0–5 years of experience in conducting patentability searches in chemistry/Organic Chemistry related inventions.
