Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Commvault Administrator to manage and support enterprise backup, recovery, and data protection settings. The candidate will be responsible for Commvault administration, backup monitoring, troubleshooting, recovery operations, and ensuring the availability and reliability of backup infrastructure.

Experience with Cohesity Administration will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Administer and support Commvault backup and recovery environments.
Manage and monitor backup jobs, schedules, policies, retention, and storage configurations.
Configure and maintain CommServe, MediaAgent, and Commvault components.
Monitor backup operations and proactively identify and resolve backup failures.
Perform file, application, and system-level restore and recovery activities.
Troubleshoot Commvault-related issues and coordinate with relevant infrastructure teams.
Manage backup policies, schedules, retention, and storage requirements.
Perform health checks and ensure backup environments meet operational and recovery requirements.
Support disaster recovery and data protection activities.




Maintain operational documentation, procedures, and backup reports.
Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities.
Ensure adherence to enterprise backup, security, and operational standards.

Must-Have Skills
Robust hands-on experience in Commvault Administration.
Good understanding of enterprise Backup & Recovery concepts.
Experience with Commvault CommServe and MediaAgent.
Experience with backup monitoring, troubleshooting, restore, and recovery.
Knowledge of backup policies, schedules, retention, and storage management.
Ability to analyze and resolve backup job failures.
