Role & responsibilities:
Design & Engineering: Prepare structural and civil design calculations, drawings, and 3D models for foundations, steel structures, and concrete works.
Code Compliance: Follow local and international design codes like IS, ACI, AISC, and Eurocodes.
Material Estimation: Generate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs to help procurement teams buy supplies.
Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and piping teams to resolve layout clashes.
Vendor & Site Support: Review vendor drawings and solve technical problems during construction at the job site.
Preferred candidate profile
Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Experience: 3 to 10+ years working on industrial, oil and gas, or infrastructure EPC projects.
Software Skills: Proficiency in design tools like STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, Tekla Structures, and AutoCAD.
Soft Skills: Robust problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and explicit communication.
