Responsibilities
Perform CFD simulation and thermal analysis for Recent Product Development (NPD) of 3-Wheeler and 4-Wheeler vehicle platforms
Analyze simulation results, identify thermal and aerodynamic performance gaps and develop countermeasures to achieve performance targets as per TQT (Target Quality Table) for combustion-based vehicles
Conduct CFD simulation and thermal analysis for 3W and 4W platforms
Perform engine cooling system analysis including radiator, coolant flow, and under-hood thermal management
Evaluate and approve CFD/thermal performance of parts/subsystems for NPD projects meeting QCD targets
Develop and validate CFD models for internal flows (intake, exhaust), external aerodynamics, and heat transfer
Simulate combustion chamber flows, air-fuel mixing, and exhaust system thermal behavior
Profecient in motor and battery thermal management
Cabin thermal management including HVAC system
1D performance calculations for powertrain systems - Range, Acceleration, Gradability, etc
Correlate simulation results with physical thermal tests and wind tunnel data
Review IDF along with IP team for CFD/thermal-related intellectual property
Conduct benchmarking and competitive analysis for thermal and aerodynamic performance
Prepare/Update CFD simulation standards and align with test standards

Education Qualification: Engineering - Fulltime
Required Experience: 15+ years
