We are seeking a agile and ambitious individual to join our team as Deputy Editor (Physical Chemistry) for our flagship journal, Advanced Science. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated Advanced portfolio ambassador with an extensive global network in physical chemistry, driving strategic initiatives that bridge groundbreaking research communities and shape how interdisciplinary science is published and shared worldwide.
The Deputy Editor actively participates in the peer review process and decision-making for submitted manuscripts while ensuring adoption of best practices and the highest ethical standards in publishing.
How you will make an impact:
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to grow Wiley's Advanced Portfolio within the physical chemistry community globally. Leverage your network, knowledge of the subject area and its development, and desk research skills to commission high-quality papers and build collaborative relationships with leading researchers to enhance content quality and brand influence.
- Represent Wiley and the physical sciences portfolio at conferences and through in-person and virtual outreach activities at universities and research institutes.
- Collaborate with the global editorial team across departments to develop the journal portfolio and to manage manuscripts submitted from related subject areas for Advanced Scie
