About Your Team
The GPS Marketing team is a small, high-ownership group of performance marketers. We run paid search, SEO, and generative engine presence for Fidelity's UK retail business — helping people find, understand, and choose the right financial products at the right moment.
About Your Role
You'll own SEO and GEO delivery for a 6-month period, covering a planned absence. From day one, you'll be managing schema markup,
tracking organic search performance, and making sure Fidelity earns its place in AI-generated search results — not just traditional ones. This will involve:
- Managing and implementing structured data / schema markup across fidelity.co.uk
- Monitoring organic search KPIs — sessions, impressions, click-through rates — via Google Search Console and Adobe Analytics
- Optimising content so Fidelity appears in AI-generated responses (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity) — this is what we call GEO
- Coordinating with website, compliance, and brand teams to ensure everything we publish is search-ready and regulation-compliant
- Preparing monthly performance reports and contributing to quarterly business reviews
- Identifying content and keyword gaps, and working with the team to close them
